The Year 5770

bluedoors(Dec 24, 2009) I wrote this post several months ago, however, it remains the most visited post, daily, on this site.  Friend, there is a hunger and thirst to know “Thus saith the Lord” in this hour.  I encourage you, He will never leave us visionless without a Rhema Word.  Thank you for visiting, and Happy 2010!

<Read about the Year 5771>

We are fast approaching the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah which is literally translated “Head of the Year” or “First of the Year.”  This particular Jewish New Year has carried great significance in the Spirit for us.  Personally, I’ve never been more anticipating of any other event.  In talking with Lisa Butler this morning, we both noted that a number of national ministries have scheduled events on this weekend (Sept 18 – 20).  Pastor Sharon purposely scheduled the Valor Healing Conference for this weekend in anticipation of what God is about to birth.  Joan Hunter has just announced Sept 19 will be the Worldwide Day of Healing.  Friend, this is no coincidence.

The Jewish New Year about to emerge is 5770 on the Hebrew Calendar.  There are a small circle of scholars of the Jewish faith who make it a priority to study the significance of each year.  The numerical values also have specific meaning in the Hebrew language.  Unlike English, each Hebrew character has a meaning and numerical value, giving layers of depth to every word.  Dates also convey meaning when digging deep into the importance of each numerical value.

So what are the experts saying about 5770?

“The year is good.  Hebrew year 5770 is likely a milestone in the end of this age and the transition to the next.” One scholar has studied the Torah and the frequency of year mentions throughout the Torah code.  Of the 20 years he studied out, 5770 or the year 2010, was mentioned far more often than any other year (see table below).  When most other years are mentioned hundreds or thousands of times, 5770 turns up randomly in 222,503 instances!  The scholar remarks about this, “The year 5770 (AD 2010) is potentially present in such large numbers that it is almost impossible to estimate its probability of significance statistically.  If the alphabet and numbering system were actually designed with coding in mind, then 5770 is a significant year just by its shear numbers.”

Another Hebrew scholar writes about the spiritual significance of 5770.  “The number of the Hebrew year 5770 is pregnant with great meaning.  We are living the times that the Earth is coming into a new comprehension of holiness in the physical realm.”  There is some talk about the re-emerging glory of Solomon’s Temple which boldly displayed the Glory of God and His renown in the world.

I’ll be putting my head together with a few insightful people and be getting back to you on this topic.  One thing’s for sure… we’re in for something monumental in the coming days.  I’ve put together a list of possible meanings for 5770 based on the Hebrew meanings of the numbers 5, 7, 10, 100, and 1000.  You will be greatly encouraged!

5 = Grace or 4+1 (Creation plus God walking together in divine favor uninfluenced and invincible.)

1000 = Number of divine completeness and Glory of God.

5000 = 5 x 1000 Grace and its multiplying influence on the Glory of God as it manifests openly and fills the Earth.

7 = Satisfied, matured, completion or the number of spiritual perfection. The completed work of the Holy Spirit.

10 = The perfection of Divine order

100 = Children of Promise or God’s election of grace

70 = Hence 7 x 10 signifies perfect spiritual order carried out with all spiritual power and significance. Both spirit and order are greatly emphasized.

700 = 7 x 100 Maturity that rests on the Children of promise who walk in a complete understanding of their election of grace.

  3. Wow! This is truly exciting! There is just so much happening; and it appears to be widespread. Father God is getting his people’s attention; as well as their hearts. I am in anticipation as to where and how far this is going. 2010 will definitely hold good things, but it has already begun in 2009!

  4. Hey Melissa, great work and research! Thanks for sharing this with all of us. God bless and please give your husband and mother my greetings!

  5. Melissa,

Thank you for this post and the great many others on your blog. I came here because of this particular entry and found myself wrapped up in many others all the while nodding my head in agreement. Glory to God! I look forward to reading more from you in the future.

  6. It is amazing! I had the thought of maybe the enemy is trying to distract us from this new year with all the hype on 2012.
I believe this new year will be something different and more refreshing than we have had in a decade!
I pray for healing on the body of Christ!!
    Shalom!

  7. I am inspired to see what is to happen in this year to come. Something to help and inpire those of us who are looking. Chuck Pierce, a prophet from Glory of Zion.org out of Denton, TX is also having a conference. The webcast starts tonight and goes through Sun am I think. I have been to the conference last year for 5769 the year of Samehk Tet (if I spelled that correctly) and was amazed. Look it up as I believe from what I have experienced this year and from that conference, this next one should be amazing. Blessings to you all!

  8. Glory to God. The Lord has been leading me to read 1 King’s 8,9,10 and I didn’t understand why but I felt that Solomon and the temple were siginificant. For the past few months before the Lord led me to read about the re-building of the temple and the past couple weeks the dedication of Solomon’s temple. I have been feeling so dry and didn’t get it. This morning I asked the Lord to show me the season we are in and to open the eyes of my understanding…and then I happen upon your post while researching 5770! When I read your words, “There is some talk about the re-emerging glory of Solomon’s Temple which boldly displayed the Glory of God and His renown in the world.” I knew this was the Lord speaking to me. Thanks be to God and thank-you for being obedient to the Lord. What a blessing.

    • Solomon’s temple is most certainly key in the coming days, weeks, months and even years. Watch for this topic to emerge. Larry Randolph has much to say about this, check for his link on my “Trove” page.

      You are hearing very accurately.
      Blessings!
