Today marks the beginning of the Hebrew year 5771. Everything that was written about the year of Ayin (5770) carries over from last year and remains pertinent throughout the entire decade of the “5770′s” or in our western calendar, the “2010′s”. Welcome to the Seeing Years. The eyes of the church are beginning to see what Father has hidden for us in this time. For more information on Ayin, 5770, 5771, read this before proceeding.
The Seeing Years are a crucial prophetic succession that must take place in the formative stages of the next great awakening. The prophetic eyes of the church must see clearly to help direct the body into terra nova. Friend, we have been feeling the birth pangs of a new move of God - one that we pray, would usher in the last great influx of souls. The eyes, however, must be enlightened before the harvest can be reaped. Jesus said to His disciples in John 4:35, “I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.”
Seeing is Reaping
Jesus also taught in Luke 11:34-35, “Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eyes are good, your whole body also is full of light. But when they are bad, your body also is full of darkness. See to it, then, that the light within you is not darkness.” The light of today makes yesterday’s light seem dim. As the eyes of the church are enlightened in the Seeing Years, the entire body will be filled with revelation and understanding. Rather than just a select few, by faith many will step into the role of ”seer.” This process will transpire throughout the Ayin years (5770′s or the 2010′s).
The eyes of the church began to be opened in 2010, and that process will continue on throughout the decade. Each subsequent year will bring enlightenment to the eyes of the church as we learn to see Father in new ways. He is placing His hands on our eyes, to remove the scales that we might see His goodness. Here is a brief digest of what I believe we can look forward to in the coming five years. I’ll post on the second half of the Seeing Years at a later time.
2011 or ’71 – Ayin Aleph (Seeing Him as Father and Source)
2012 or ’72 – Ayin Bet (Jesus as Powerful Master of His Creation)
2013 or ’73 – Ayin Gimmel (Gracious Benevolent Redeemer)
2014 or ’74 – Ayin Dalet (He is the ”Door on the Eye” or Our Open Door of Destiny)
2015 or ’75 – Ayin Hey (The God Who Indwells Us Without Measure)
As we behold Him in the coming years, the vision of the church will change. Consequently, the vision for the church will change, too. How we see Him, will determine how we respond to His harvest. As a prophet friend of mine always reminds, “First the spiritual and then the natural.” Seeing will precipitate action toward reformation. This reformation, however, will be a response to seeing the Truth about Father, rather than a response to the error of prior generations.
Friend, we shall behold Him!
